Summary:Snow in the high desert can only lead to one thing, one car smashing into another. That is Kate's last thought before her truck slides down a hill into a very expensive looking BMW. Even better is how the guy yells at her and basically calls her an idiot for not knowing how to drive in the snow.
So why does she offer to fix the damage to Sam's car for free? Well, Sam wanting to call the cops and report the accident might have something to do with it. Kate has a serious aversion to law enforcement, and for good reason. Not that she's about to explain that to Sam. All she wants to do is fix his car up and forget it ever happened. The problem with that is that once Sam calms down and apologizes she can't seem to get him out of her head. It's dangerous for her to get close to anyone. The closer she lets him in, the more likely he'll figure out exactly what she's hiding.
***This is my first ever NANO project so any and all feedback is appreciate. Is it interesting enough to keep going with. Is the romance too slow? Are you intrigued by the secrets Kate's hiding?
***I'm posting edits so my poor new readers don't have to see the mess! Thanks for reading! Chapters: |

Summary:I was asked to provide a short article for the Queensland Austin Car Club magazine about my husband's Folly! Andrew is a aficcionado of English cars. Before this drama, he owned and still has a 1959 Austin Farina A40, a 1953Austin AS3 (a work in non-progress) and a long-wheel-based, Land Rover Series 3 4WD.
