 | Vampires to the left of me, Slayers to the right... | Cate Carpenter | Novel | Romance | 4 | n/a | Feb 5, 2012 |
Summary:Hi TNBW group!
I've been working really hard at getting this story clean and tight, and I know that there is more I can do. I wrote this story this year, while I was faced with Breast Cancer. Surprisingly, it made me laugh at the things that my heroine went through and I got to thinking... if I can distract other cancer patient's for just a bit, I would. So as I'm in the process of changing/ editing and using all the wonderful feedback I've recieved, I'd like to one day publish this, and give the profit to either cancer research or to organizations that support the survivors of this awful illness. Thanks again everyone.

 | The Lost | Simon Harper | Novel | Literary Fiction | 3 | n/a | Feb 14, 2011 |
Summary:The Lost is a story about five people, four living on the fringe of society and one becoming involved in their lives. Support characters are as important as the main characters. It is told through a multiple limited third person point-of-view. Each "book" contains 5 "cycles", 25 chapters. The first "book" deals mainly with the individual stories of the characters and plot introduction. The second "book" deals with interactions and plot development. The third book deals with consequences and resolutions.
I welcome positive comments and advice, but also areas of improvement. I have less objective distance from the project than you do, so if I don't know what isn't working from a reader's point of view, it is harder to fix.Chapters: |

Summary:In a modern era where magic is as real as technology, black magic is a more potent threat to civilization than terrorism or rogue nations.
I'm interested in receiving advice on word choice, phrasing, story flow, plot decisions, and anything else the reader can think of that will improve the story.Chapters: |
