Summary:This is one of my favourite poems (not that I'm much of a poet), I wonder if you will like it also.
I chose a French title (which means 'Their Hands') because I think it makes it more whimsical)Chapters: |

Summary:This is an old piece and I post it only to let many know that Flo is okay! Things have been rather dark and sad lately BUT... my humor is alive and well. I worked on this piece as was embarrassed by the horrendous amount of errors.
Are there still errors! Of course! This is me folks! Still a student.
No need to leave reviews as many have already read it. I am reposting it for those who need to laugh or at least I hope they laugh or nod in recognition.

Summary:This is something that came together in my mind, but is clearly not fleshed out. I need some help with the ending - it is too abrupt. And I need to move Ron's life further forward. But there are probably other things that need fixing. I am not happy with this, but I'm not sure where to start. HELP! All feedback welcome.Chapters: |

Muti = Af for medicine, poison, etc etc.
Sun-downer = a drink (or 3) imbibed at about the time the sun’s going down, being 5:30 – 6:30 around these parts.
I look forward to comments.Chapters: |
 | Death in the Forest | pannastra | Short Story | Flash Fiction | 7 | 0.31 | May 17, 2010 |
Summary:My writing penchant is humour, so this one is unusual for me, but had to be written. Whether I should have posted it on tNBW is another matter.
I find the saturation promotional advertising of up-coming tv programs to be extremely irritating. One in particular that was doing the rounds really p'd me off. As I lay in bed one night trying to sleep I got quite incensed. I could not sleep until I had grabbed my laptop computer and wrote down what was bounding around inside my skull.
This is the result.Chapters: |

Summary:I've already turned the orginal version of this into a chaiku to placate Sonny. Is there nothing I won't do for that man?
In the last 21 days I've only had three days off work due to working two jobs and averaging about 14 hours a day. I've had a cold the last week which caused me to feel horrible and I've been fretting about not writing much. I went to bed angry with myself for not meeting a deadline yesterday and when I woke up, the first line of this poem screamed in my head. It's time to quit making excuses.

 | Conversations with Richard | kat nove | Short Story | Humor | 14 | 0.14 | Jul 7, 2007 |
Summary:For over three years now, I’ve been racing to my keyboard whenever my boyfriend and I have one of our unusual conversations. I guess I should clarify that they are unusual by most couple’s standards. I’ve always told him that if I ever write a memoir about my dull and uneventful life, these conversations would get at least a chapter. Today turned out to be a blood-pressure raising day, both at home and at work. I won’t even go into why Time Warner Cable headquarters should be picketed, a certain dishwasher repairman should be punched in the face, and how somewhere out there a customer who needs lessons in civility and good manners, ignited my first panic attack. I will mention the conversation I had with my boyfriend after telling him about my day.Chapters: |
 | Snakes and Flamers and Me Oh My | kat nove | Short Story | Humor | 12 | 0.65 | Jun 9, 2007 |
Summary:This is a mostly true account, with only my usual embellishing of something that happened after work the other night. I dedicate it to my good friends Moses and Amy. Moses, you really are my hero. Chapters: |
