Please pardon the mess . . . . This story actually begins at Chapter 51. The first draft ran from 1-43 and I am slowly disabling those chapters. The revised version begins at Chapter 51. I wasn't sure of the best method on presenting rewrites, this is what I came up with. Hope it's not too confusing . . . . Still struggling with the untimely death of her husband, Joey Fagan prepares for a vacation she's not really interested in taking. She does leave home, but finds herself still in Chicago in the year 1893, relying on a man who just might be a previous incarnation of her husband.
